OK, there was a fic I remember reading and loving but it was before I created my Delicious and now I'm not sure if it was the main aspect of the story or just the secondary.

Someone wrote a fic where Vic was the one who ran Sam over in 2006. I was hoping you guys could save me some time.

Hi, I've been searching top to bottom for a specific Gene/Sam fic I read a looooooong time ago. It's a casefic, something to do with hate crimes against gay people, and it has an OMC who Gene thinks Sam wants to date.
